A monthly replacement contact lens with 55% water content, aspheric front surface and integrated UV protection. The new "drift control" improvement of visual quality is achieved when compared to conventional contact lenses. The difference lies in the design of the front surface. Because of the aspherical anterior surface of the lens is characterized by the strength and the possibility to change the thickness of necessary changes. The aim is not only to correct low levels of aberrations, eg. spherical refractive errors, and astigmatism, but το become, also, a further step, the reduction of the "spherical aberration".
